尼克及合伙人建筑设计咨询有限公司参与了北京协和医院转化医学中心国际设计竞赛。竞赛入围后通过最终评审，北京团队最终获得了第二名的好成绩。

该项目位于协和医院院区内，是一座十层的立方体包括一个下沉前广场。

建筑体被DNA双螺旋结构金属遮阳板编织而成的外表皮所包裹，使简洁的建筑体显得细腻而优雅。

Nickl & Partner Architectural Design Consulting Co. Ltd successfully participated in the international competition for a translational medicine building in Beijing. The team in Beijing achieved second place in the competition, which included a preliminary, open application procedure.

The design provides for adding a 10-storey cubic structure with a terraced forecourt to the tradition-steeped university and hospital campus in Beijing.

A second skin of metal sunscreen elements encloses the building. Their design is modelled after a DNA double helix and gives the building an elegant, slender appearance.
