The Würzburg Comprehensive Heart Failure Center, designed by Nickl & Partner Architekten AG, was officially inaugurated on 13 January 2017. Prof. Dr Georg Ertl, medical director of the Würzburg University Hospital, and Prof. Dr Matthias Frosch, dean of the Würzburg University medical faculty, were among the welcoming address speakers during the ceremony. Prof. Dr Alfred Forchel, president of Würzburg University, Stefan Müller, Dr Ludwig Spaenle, dean Dr Edda Weise, auxiliary bishop Ulrich Boom and Peter Mack also spoke.

This sustainably strengthens the advanced clinical research and significantly increases scientific competitiveness in this disease area.”
