Nickl & Partner’s Indonesia team is currently designing a hospital in the city of Palangka Raya for Indonesia’s leading hospital operator. A general hospital will be built on the site of a former hotel for the provincial capital on Kalimantan, the world’s third-largest island. The design envisions integration of the former hotel building into the future health centre. In addition to emergency, inpatient and outpatient care, the hospital in Palangka Raya will be equipped with radiology, laboratories, an operating area with four theatres, a haemodialysis department and a rehabilitation centre.
