Delegation visit to Arab Health in Dubai
Professor Christine Nickl-Weller visited the Arab Health Exhibition & Congress in Dubai (26–29 January 2015) as a member of the German delegation led by Parliamentary State Secretary Annette Widman-Mauz. Accompanied by Hieronimus Nickl, she met with the Emirates health minister as well as representatives from the Emirati and German healthcare sectors and German embassies.
On the second day of the exhibition Prof. Nickl-Weller chaired the Healing Architecture as Stepping Stone to Innovative Healthcare experts’ conference, an event arranged by her “Architecture for Health” chair at the Technischen Universität Berlin. The goal of the conference – supported by the Federal Ministry of Health – was to show trends and innovations on the way to high quality healthcare architecture in a dialog between German and European experts in the field of architecture and health. The focus was on major projects and medical cities.
The event was very well received by participants from the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and Oman as well as German and European participants.
