Our teams from the Munich, Berlin, Paris, Düsseldorf, and Zurich offices recently gathered for an exciting three-day excursion to Switzerland.
Starting at our Zurich office, the second day featured a comprehensive tour of the Kantonsspital Baden, designed by Nickl & Partner Architects. Our teams gained fascinating insights into the construction progress of the hospital, where the focus is on Healing Architecture – a concept we were able to experience first-hand.
We continued by bus to Basel, where we enjoyed a joint lunch and then explored the newly constructed BSS laboratory and research building of ETH Zurich. Thanks to the expert guidance of the project managers, our team members received in-depth insights into the planning and implementation of this exciting project.
An architectural tour of Basel left a lasting impression, especially the university building of the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland (FHNW), with its impressive staircases and striking light courts.
Back in Zurich, we concluded the day with lively discussions at the Seerestaurant Steinburg, enjoying a magnificent view of Lake Zurich.
After a leisurely breakfast on the final day, we visited our Zurich office before finishing the trip with a visit to the Kunsthaus Zurich. After three intense and inspiring days, we bid each other farewell.
Beyond the professional day-to-day, the excursion provided a fantastic opportunity to get to know one another better and gather fresh inspiration.
A big thank you goes to the organising team for these successful and enriching days in Switzerland.
