References to other Web pages (links)
The Landesgericht Hamburg ruled in a decision dated 12 May 1998 and the Landgericht Potsdam in a decision dated 8 July 1999 (3 O 317/99) that including a link on one’s site may incur responsibility for the content of the site to which one has linked. According to the two German regional courts, this may only be prevented if one expressly distances oneself from this content. We have included links to other websites on our Web pages. We would therefore like to emphasise that we have no influence on the design or content of the sites to which we link, and hereby distance ourselves explicitly from the content of the sites to which we link from our Web pages. This declaration applies to all links included on our Web pages and to all content on the pages to which these links lead.
Copyright and trademarks
Nickl & Partner Architekten AG endeavours in all its publications to comply with the copyright of all graphics, sound recordings, video sequences and texts, to use self-generated graphics, sound recordings, video sequences and texts where possible, or to access graphics, sound recordings, video sequences and texts not subject to copyright. All trademarks cited on the Internet offering that may be protected by third parties will be subject to the provisions of the relevant trademark legislation currently in force and the rights of any registered holders. It cannot be concluded from the fact that a trademark has been cited that no third-party rights apply to it. The copyright for published material generated by Nickl & Partner Architekten AG itself remains solely with the author of the pages. No reproduction or use of such graphics, sound recordings, video sequences or texts in other electronic or printed publications is permitted without the express approval of the author.
Validity of this exclusion of liability
The present exclusion of liability should be considered part of the Internet offering to which these Web pages refer. Where any parts of or individual formulations from this text do not comply, no longer comply, or do not fully comply with the legislation currently in force, the content and validity of the remaining parts of this document will be unaffected.
Information requirements concerning consumer arbitration
We constantly strive to amicably resolve any differences of opinion with our clients. To this end, in appropriate cases and subject to any necessary approval from our liability insurer, we also participate in an arbitration procedure before the knowledgeable and balanced staff of the Bavarian Chamber of Architects’ conciliation committee, but not before a consumer dispute resolution board within the meaning of VSBG (German Federal consumer dispute resolution regulations).
