In early March, the 10th edition of the symposium series “Health Care of the Future” was held at the Academy of Arts in Berlin, featuring a distinguished international panel of architects and health experts.
The symposium was inaugurated by its founder, Prof. Christine Nickl-Weller (Nickl & Partner Architects), Parliamentary State Secretary at the Federal Ministry of Health Sabine Dittmar, and Stefanie Bürkle, Vice Director of the Institute of Architecture at TU Berlin.
Subsequent presentations by Ben van Berkel, Stig Gothelf, Aaron Betsky, Flemming Rafn, Sunand Prasad, Prof. Giovanni Maio (University of Freiburg), Prof. Dr. Jochen A. Werner (University Hospital Essen), and Magnus Nickl (Nickl & Partner Switzerland) outlined perspectives for sustainable architecture, healthy urban planning, and the design of new health environments.
A heartfelt thank you to all participants, and we look forward to the next symposium in March 2026!
