Healing Architecture is an interdisciplinary approach to the conception and design of spaces. In addition to the optimal design of healthcare buildings, the focus is on the issue of how places can preventatively contribute to health maintenance.
The fifth Future Health Care publication is being published under the title Healing Architecture + Communication.
The contributions to this work address health and space, health and architecture, and health and society. But a special focus is also directed at the issue of communication. This includes explanation of both the relationships between communication and new media in future health care and the interaction of architecture and urban design with healing and prevention.
