On 26 March, Prof. Christine Nickl-Weller gave a lecture at the National University of Singapore’s school of design and environment, as part of an event entitled Human Ecology and Built Environment – Space and Health.
The lecture, given to a packed auditorium, bore the title Healing Architecture – Architecture for Health – Work and Projects. It dealt with social, planning and political aspects of hospital architecture, using projects from Prof. Nickl-Weller’s own experience to highlight the role of healthcare facilities in a city’s social and cultural identity.
