In mid-January, the Managing Director of Nickl & Partner Architekten, Magnus Nickl, was invited as an expert in the field of healthcare architecture to the webinar on “Hospital Planning & Design”. The webinar was organised by Dräger, the international leader in the field of safety and medical technology.

In his lecture, Magnus Nickl talked about future challenges in hospital planning and presented the architectural opportunities and solution approaches from the field of “healing architecture”.

He gave practical insights into current projects of the office to explain the importance of design when it comes to the healing effect on patients, staff satisfaction and efficient work processes. In this context, Magnus Nickl focused in particular on the architectural quality of modular construction and prefabrication and addressed design-determining parameters for comfort and room atmosphere.
