Structural work for the new Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences building begins in April. Site clearing and site facilities installation have already begun.
A crane hall that contains extensive testing facilities on three levels, numerous offices, seminar rooms and laboratories will be built in the first building phase, which has already been approved for implementation.
Thus, in addition to lectures and seminars, the students will have practical opportunities to deepen their knowledge in research facilities such as chassis dynamometer, a fall tower and an in-house wind tunnel.
The implementation planning is substantially complete. The first Europe-wide tenders were published. The anticipated construction duration will require approximately 2 years.
