Nickl & Partner in the Long Night of Architecture on 23 January 2015
Impressive response: The Long Night of Architecture in Munich attracted approximately 30,000 visitors on Friday, 23 January 2015.
The third Long Night of Architecture took place in Munich on 23 January 2015. As part of this event, visitors could explore 50 exceptional buildings from 7.00 pm – 12.00 pm.
Nickl & Partner Architekten AG extended a warm welcome to the Lindbergh Studio, Lindberghstrasse 19, 80939 Munich.
In addition to a tour of the building, there was also the opportunity to learn about current projects and competitions.
The Lindbergh Studio, headquarters of Nickl & Partner Architekten AG, is situated on the Freimanner Hölzl in Munich. The intent was to design a building appropriate to the location that meets the requirements of both future users for function and flexibility and the heterogeneous urban development of a city district characterised by commercial use. A slim volume arose that almost seems to float out into the “landscape” to the south. With its brusque, industrial character, a multi-layered facade spans the arc between partitioning on one side and individual openness on the other.
