Opening of the BSS Laboratory and Research Building at ETH Zurich
On Thursday, 16 May 2024, the BSS Laboratory and Research Building at ETH Zurich was officially opened.
This event marked the culmination of a 9-year design, planning, and implementation process. Project manager Anne Sievert, project leaders Magnus Nickl, Remo Burkhard, and Astrid Beem, as well as firm founders Prof. Hans Nickl and Prof. Christine Nickl-Weller, gathered in Basel for the celebration.
The building, located at the entrance to the Schällemätteli area in Basel, is now ready to host ETH Zurich’s experimental biologists, bioinformaticians, and bioengineers who will collaborate with partners to research innovative medical solutions.
