We are very pleased to have been commissioned to build a new ward building for the general psychiatry and psychotherapy on the grounds of LVR-Klinik on Wilhelm-Griesinger-Straße in Cologne.
Our design evolved from the idea to create a high-quality psychiatric facility consisting of only two prefabricated modular units that implements the principles of healing architecture in line with our philosophy for healthcare buildings.
The building structure picks up various urban axes and lines and thereby creates different public and private open spaces that offer the future residents and staff ideal recreational qualities.
The internal structure is defined by a clear, linear orientation and light-flooded rooms and corridors, which are broken up by various common rooms along the façade.
