This design was intended to respect the structure of the company’s existing building and the surrounding landscape, but to create an imposing contemporary structure that made a bold architectural statement and offered a high level of functional flexibility.

In order to ensure that the new building harmonises with its natural environment and is suitable for its intended use, the design makes subtle use of concrete in a modern reinterpretation of a long-established material.
