A staircase can be many things – a connection between two levels, a structure to overcome differences in height, a hidden combination of storeys and much more.
Our philosophy is not to design the staircase merely as a necessary access element, but to see it as one of the most characteristic design elements of our architecture. Even though it is taken for granted, it is always a challenge for us as architects. Our credo is to design our built environment in such a way that functionality, proportion and aesthetics are given the highest priority – for the benefit of people.
